The Hike of your Life was created in the medium on Oil painting. I chose to paint The Hike of your Life because when I first saw the landscape picture, I thought of all the times I went on a hike and saw all the beautiful flowers. I believe The Hike of your Life is what my favorite hike would look like.   

The elopement of value was used was used in blending the blue, green. yellow, and pink. Value was also used to paint all the flowers. Value refers to light and dark drawings and paintings are made up of light, dark, and middle value areas. I used texture when painting the grass on the hill. Texture is the surface quality that can be seen and felt.
